The Town of Wells, Maine is seeking a part-time Recording Secretary to attend various Board and Committee meetings for the purpose of taking minutes of the proceedings. This is a part-time, year-round 10 hour per week position. The Recording Secretary is responsible for accurately recording attendance, discussions, motions, and votes that occur during these meetings. The Recording Secretary must then transcribe minutes and have them available for public inspection within 7 business days after the meeting.

Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate must have:
- Previous minute-taking experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet prescribed deadlines
