What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Rest Area Worker position at Tresco, Inc.?
Under general supervision, work on-site at assigned rest areas to ensure janitorial and grounds work are completed according to contract specifications. Primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned rest areas and rest area employees in accordance with established procedures and standards.
Responsibilities
- Take direction, interact and maintain open communication with supervisor.
- Cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
- Attend all scheduled meetings.
- Clean rest area restrooms.
- Fill all soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and toilet paper dispensers.
- Clean and maintain all rest area buildings and rest area property.
- Clean and maintain all rest area grounds.
- Notify Rest Area Supervisor or Skills Trainer of any maintenance or repair problem.
- Follow daily work schedule as assigned by Maintenance Facilities Program Manager Assistant, Rest Area Supervisor or Skills Trainer.
- Assist public when necessary
- Discuss any issues of concern to the Rest Area Supervisor.
- Accept and implement special projects as assigned by supervisor.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES. Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education. GED or High School Diploma.
Licenses/Certification. Valid Driver’s License.
Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). Employee’s must undergo a driver’s license record check; employees must pass a background check.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:
- Experience working with persons with disabilities preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of building systems, e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, others

Rate of Pay: $15.00/hour
Pay Range: OP-1
