Accounts Payable Specialist - IN OFFICE ONLY
Our company is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. The hours are Full time; Monday – Friday from 8AM to 5:00PM.
We are looking for the right person who will come into our company and fit into our department with a basic skill set. You will be trained on our system but must have the correct mindset to learn and then figure out how to grow in the position.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while paying attention to minute details.
Responsibilities:
· Ability to handle a heavy workflow of entering vouchers, purchase orders and invoices into our system.
· Understand the flow of the payables and assisting in managing cash flow / cash needs of the organization.
· Ability to reconcile vendor statements, deal with questions and communicate clearly and effectively.
· Good computer skills in Excel, Outlook
· Special projects as assigned to include:
o Accounting / spreadsheet projects
· Perform all administrative duties related to ensuring office efficiency.
· Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
· Good computer skills; Excel and Email and ability to understand other tasks as assigned.
· Good time management and communication skills.
· Ability to project a positive and energetic attitude over the phone.
