Job Summary:
- The Roll Tender will order, inspect, mount, and effectively splice paper while maintaining adequate supplies and solutions during production periods.
Key Responsibilities include:
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 6 months of work experience related to the position/equipment or sufficient cross-training time working as a Roll Tender on comparable equipment.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- The ability to perform work productively and safely is required.
- Reliable attendance is essential.
- Overtime may be mandatory as needed.
- The ability to work at a rapid pace is crucial.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs frequently is required.
- Frequent standing, walking, handling, and reaching/working overhead is necessary.
- Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling may be required.
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity are required.
- Hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes must be worn.
Schedule:
- Two days on/two days off schedule.
- Shifts run from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, totaling 36 hours per week.
