We are committed to ensuring the health and safety for all employees and the community. Now hiring Inclusion Assistants! 
Tualatin Hills Parks & Recreation District (THPRD) is looking for compassionate, kind, and reliable individuals who want to make a difference in their community. Inclusion Assistants provide one-on-one assistance to participants of all ages with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities as they integrate into THPRD programs.  

Duties include adapting activities, following inclusion or behavior plans, maintaining a safe environment and promoting a participant's success in a program. Programs take place each week at various THPRD sites around the District.
 
We are hiring for year-round positions. Weekly hours and assignment schedules can change and are dependent on the needs of the programs. Part-time employees are scheduled variable hours and may work less than 1,560 hours per year. Seasonal employees may be scheduled up to 40 hours per week for a maximum duration of 6 consecutive months. 
 

Staff should be prepared to work outdoors, on uneven surfaces, and in various environmental conditions each week. Staff may be required to wear a mask and should be prepared to demonstrate physical distancing standards in line with current guidelines and requirements to keep all staff and participants safe.
