Title: Staff/Senior Accountant
Location: Bethesda, MD
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Compensation: $70,000-90,000 per year (plus bonus)
Our client, a private equity firm, is looking to add a Staff or Senior Accountant to their growing accounting department. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity. Successful incumbent will have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year university and 6 months of accounting experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
- Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
- Journal entries
- Tax assistance and compliance
- Month-end close assistance
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited university (required)
- 2 years of accounting experience or an internship held in accounting (required)
