We are currently recruiting on a Senior Accountant opening with a fast-growing, financial services based organization. This position is newly created due to growth, and will be responsible for supporting month-end close, GL account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, revenue recognition, AP/AR, and other ad-hoc projects as needed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts such as cash and cash equivalents, loan receivables, interest income, accrued liabilities, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses.
- Maintain and update deferred revenue schedules, particularly in relation to loan origination fees, servicing fees, and other client-related revenue streams.
- Manage accounts payable workflows, including the entry and coding of vendor invoices, employee expense reimbursements, and corporate credit card reconciliations, with a focus on scalability and automation.
- Oversee third-party AP system integrations and contribute to the rollout of enhanced payment processing tools designed to streamline disbursements and expense tracking.
- Assist with annual tax compliance, including the preparation of 1099s and coordination of W-9 collection from service providers and independent contractors.
- Serve as a liaison with insurance brokers to ensure proper coverage levels and compliance with client, investor, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the preparation of audit and tax schedules for internal and external reviews, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited 4-year university required
- 4-8 years of progressive corporate accounting and/or public accounting audit experience
- CPA or CPA parts-passed required
- Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
- US Citizenship is required
- Strong written communication skills; Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
