What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at LHH?
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for one of our rapidly growing, private equity owned clients in Richmond, VA. This position will collaborate directly with the Controller and be involved with all aspects of the company’s finances. This position requires exceptional analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage general accounting functions and review of financial results
- Compile and analyze financial statements
- Establish and maintain internal controls
- Assist with management of the monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes
- Support the integration of acquired companies and perform acquisition accounting and consolidation
- Maintain fixed assets depreciation software
- Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assist with auditor requests; and completion of ad-hoc projects
Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting
- 3 years relevant experience
- Public accounting experience preferred
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
