What You Do

Lease Data Management
- Abstract, interpret, and input lease data for shopping centers and mixed-use properties, including amendments, assignments, and other legal documents.
- Maintain data integrity by reviewing and updating lease information to ensure accuracy in company systems.
- Validate billing accuracy in accordance with lease terms, applying proper calculations for rent, CAM, and other charges.
- Monitor and manage all critical lease dates, including commencements, expirations, options, and contingency deadlines, ensuring timely action.
- Identify and escalate ambiguous or problematic lease language that may impact compliance or financial obligations.
- Serve as a point of contact for tenant inquiries related to billing and lease interpretation.
- Provide timely responses and coordinate solutions with internal stakeholders when necessary.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing Common Area Maintenance (CAM) and real estate tax true-up calculations for shopping center tenants.
- Perform variance analysis and ensure supporting documentation is accurate and organized.
- Process and validate monthly escrow adjustments for recoverable charges and coordinate with accounting and property management teams.
- Support acquisition efforts by reviewing lease language for shopping center properties, validating billing structures, and contributing to integration planning.
- Assist in setting up new properties in company systems, including validation and quality checks.
- Prepare, review, and track estoppel certificates to ensure accuracy of financial and legal terms for shopping center leases.
(Requirements)
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial real estate lease administration, with a strong emphasis on shopping centers (REQUIRED).
- Proficiency in abstracting and interpreting retail and shopping center leases is mandatory.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Yardi (Preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
