The registered nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating all care for patients admitted to the ED during their shift.
- Graduation from a school of nursing and current licensure as an RN are required.
- One year Med/Surg experience is preferred.
- Current RN license is required, compact license accepted.
- BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS certifications are required within 6 months.
- Advanced Stroke Course certification is preferred.
