Job Summary
The registered nurse in our emergency services department is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating all care for patients admitted to the ED during their shift. They must possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Graduation from a school of nursing and current licensure as an RN.
- One year Med/Surg experience preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Current RN license required, can be compact license.
- BLS required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if before 30 days of hire.
- ACLS required within 6 months.
- PALS required within 6 months.
- Advanced Stroke Course preferred.
Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
