Job Summary
The registered nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating all care for patients admitted to the ED during his/her shift. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Document patient information accurately and timely
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure as an RN
- One year Med/Surg experience preferred
- Current RN license required, can be compact license
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months
