What are the responsibilities and job description for the Festival Help position at U S National Whitewater Center?
Festival staff at the Whitewater Center are responsible for helping and supporting operations during specific festivals and events. Festival staff will perform a variety of tasks and may rotate to work in several different locations during the festival. They must be flexible and able to endure long periods of standing and repetitive tasks in an outdoor environment that is often demanding. Tasks may include bartending, cash handling, operation a POS system, running product, and food prep. Festival staff should also be comfortable interacting with guests in a positive manner.

Attire
- Clean, in good condition, and free of holes and tears
- Black, grey, or khaki pants or shorts of appropriate length
- Black polo shirt
- Closed-toed and comfortable shoes
Physical Demands
- Must be able to work outdoors for sustained periods of time in all weather and environmental conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stand, lean, and kneel on a regular basis and for sustained periods of time.
- Must be able to safely self-transport over uneven terrain or in a confined space.
- Must be able to work in shared spaces with other employees and customers.
- All positions as Whitewater require employees to report and work onsite at Whitewater locations.
