The position of Corporate Finance Analyst reports to the Director, Corporate Finance. This is a highly visible and challenging position, collaborating cross functionally with all levels of management. We are seeking a motivated self-starter with solid quantitative skills and strong interest in finance to be an integral member of the corporate finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in negotiations of hedging agreements with bank counterparties
- Complete and maintain hedging regulatory compliance reporting
- Execute foreign exchange (FX) hedging strategies and prepare mark to market valuations
- Provide full back-office support for the enterprise commodity hedging program including mark to market valuations, reconciliation, and analysis
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with bank counterparties through regular interaction
- Prepare and present quarterly report outs on FX and commodity hedging, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Perform calculation and analysis of weighted average cost of capital (WACC)
- Complete monthly borrowing base reports for corporate ABL credit facilities
- Coordinate inventory appraisals and field exams related to the corporate credit facilities
- Assist with loan, capital markets, liability management (such as debt repurchases) or other finance activities as required
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and project support to drive value and efficiency
- Support and present regularly to the Treasurer and cross-functional leadership
- Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned based on personal interests and needs of the organization
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business analytics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant corporate or financial services work experience, level dependent upon experience
- Strong interest in finance is essential
- Knowledge of basic concepts of hedging and derivatives
- High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence decisions and interact with all levels of management
- Self-motivated with the ability to drive efficiencies and identify opportunities for improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required
- Knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal and advanced Microsoft Excel (financial modeling) is a plus
- Self-starter with the ability to work from home up to 90% of the time
