What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at University of California - Riverside?
The Laborer relocates, assembles, and dismantles furnishings, equipment, materials, supplies, temporary structures, and stages for classes, meetings, special campus events or maintenance jobs.
Performs loading, transportation, and unloading of trucks and other vehicles. Operates, cleans, and maintains tools and equipment.
This position assists the UCR Transfer Station by emptying refuse and recycle bins, sweeping the area surrounding the bins, and removing litter.
May assist other Facilities Services units with general housekeeping or tasks based on operational needs.
The full salary range for the Laborer position is $19.47 - $26.71 hourly. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and / or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
