Job Summary
The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience is accepting applications for the Research Associate Position. The postdoctoral research associate will work closely with the PI to assure data quality control and the assurance of data safety and monitoring and in this role will assist the PI to conduct meetings with external Data Safety and Monitoring Boards and/or Safety Monitors. Support for grant writing, data management and analysis, and manuscript preparation will also be expected. Specifically, it is expected that the postdoctoral research associate will take a lead role in analyzing data, preparing data for presentation at professional conferences, and will collaborate with the PI and Co-Investigators to submit manuscripts for publication.

Primary responsibilities include the role of project supervisor for NIH funded grants on cannabis and health research. The postdoctoral research associate will be responsible for coordinating with the Pl and investigative team in order to manage the collection of behavioral and biological data, correspondence with the IRB regarding updates and amendments to relevant protocols, correspondence with NIH (e.g., progress reports) and supervision and training of research staff.
