Job Description:

The College of Nursing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented OPS Research Assistant to support ongoing research projects. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in research and healthcare who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic academic environment. The Research Assistant will work closely with faculty and research teams to support study coordination, data collection, and administrative tasks.

This is not a Graduate Research Assistant position. Students currently enrolled in graduate-level programs at any UF college are not eligible for this role.

Expected Salary:

$15-$21 per hour, commensurate with education and experience

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience

Preferred:

• Prior experience in research and/or healthcare, including IRB coordination
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with RedCap, Qualtrics, Zoom, and simulated EHR systems
• Ability to operate common equipment such as PCs, laptops, tablets, copiers/scanners, eye trackers, and audio-recorders
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact with healthcare providers and other stakeholders
• High personal motivation, strong self-management skills, and attention to detail
