What are the responsibilities and job description for the Federal Work-Study| Social Sciences position at University of Houston System?
Description:
• Assists and interacts with all levels of university personnel, students, and the general population
• Performs administrative duties such as answering phones, scanning, mail, filing, and copying documents
• Maintains and files confidential records
• Performs data entry and verification of data entered by others
• Run errands within the University
• May prepare documents
• Sustains organization of the office suite and supplies cabinets/closets
• Assists with special events, duties, and projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Must be dependable and willing to learn new skills
• Must have good computer skills
• Must have good customer service skills
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Qualifications:
• Must be a current UHD student
• Must have college work-study funding through the UHD Office of Financial Aid
Preferred Qualifications:
• Have availability to work in 4-hour intervals: 8 AM-12 PM or 1 PM-5 PM
on weekdays
