The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety division is currently hiring for the position of Temp Retail Associate for Duncan Student Center dining. The University Operations, Events, and Safety division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.

The Temporary Retail Associate will be cross-trained and will be working in Duncan Student Center at Modern Market, Hagerty Cafe, and Chick-Fil-A. This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service for our guests while ensuring a clean, fast and friendly multi-unit environment.

The Temporary Retail Associate will be cross-trained and will be working in Duncan Student Center at Modern Market, Hagerty Cafe, and Chick-Fil-A. This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service for our guests while ensuring a clean, fast and friendly multi-unit environment.
A typical day working at Modern Market and Hagerty Cafe includes:
- Assisting guests and exceeding expectations while working at a fast-paced dining establishment
- Assisting with preparation of food as needed
- Stocking and rotating of food inventories
- Order & point of sale accuracy
A typical day working at Chick-Fil-A includes:
- Accurately following the daily production lists per Chick-Fil-A brand training
- Food preparation
- Stocking and loading vans for deliveries
- Prepping upcoming orders/working in a high volume quick service location
- Washing dishes, and maintaining eating areas within unit
- Performing all tasks relating to retail, safety and sanitation of food service facilities

Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- The ideal candidate for this position would have some level of experience in food service, food prep and/or the hospitality industry
