Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients regularly, create and update care plans.
- Educate patients and families about hospice care.
- Coordinate with physicians for patient care updates.
- Complete clinical notes accurately and timely.
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care and emotional support.
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations.
- Handle occasional on-call responsibilities as needed.
- Current Missouri RN license (unrestricted).
- Minimum 1–2 years of RN experience required (hospice preferred).
- Ability to work independently with minimal mentorship.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and assessment skills.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation.
- EMR proficiency (NetSmart experience a plus).
- Competitive pay range: $37.48 - $47.12 per hour (based on experience) plus a $10K sign-on bonus!
- Flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Separate On-call positions available to reduce staff nurse on-call load.
