About the Position:
As a Navy Physician and Officer in the Navy Medical Corps, you will help lead the highly respected Navy healthcare team. You will handle everything a typical physician does, including diagnosing ailments, treating injuries, and saving lives. You also have opportunities to move beyond routine by working at top military medical facilities on shore, at sea, and in the field.
About Your Schedule:
As a Reservist, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, physicians typically work close to home, giving you flexibility to expand your medical experience without compromising your civilian practice. For annual training, physicians may serve anywhere in the world, whether at sea, in hospitals stateside, or in bases and camps internationally.
