Responsibilities
- Diagnose ailments, treat injuries, and save lives
- Work at top military medical facilities on shore, at sea, or in the field
- Collaborate with fellow military doctors and other healthcare officers
- Partner with international relief teams and organizations
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
- Eligibility for board certification
- Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
Additional Information
- Pay and benefits include repayment of qualified education loans, post 9/11 GI Bill, and no-cost or low-cost medical and dental care
- Physicians work one weekend a month/flex drill available to accommodate surgical case rotations
