- CCNA, Network .
Education and Experience »
- Degree in network administration.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or business.
- 7 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the planning, design, implementation and troubleshooting of network systems.
- In-depth understanding of routing and switching technology, IP, and signaling. In-depth knowledge of ITIL framework.
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends and products.
- In-depth knowledge of waterfall and agile project management processes, tools and techniques.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
- 3 must-have skills: Routing, switching, load balancing.
- 3 nice-to-have skills: Linux OS, NetScout, MPLS.
- Needs to understand networking at deep level Linux OS is a plus.
- Scripting languages like Python.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Operationally focused team.
- Handle escalation, dig cam cent.
- Use network data to let other teams know what is broken in their environment.
- Understanding load balancing tech, LTM, GTM, Get into WIFI, WAM, MPLS Data Center Networking.
- Very broad scope networking team.
- Will need to figure out what the problem without being handheld.
- Writes and reviews requirements documents for evaluation of new hardware/software.
- Partners with internal/external staff to develop requirements for new services and applications to meet the needs of the customer.
- Develop security definitions for the operation and management of customers communications systems.
- Leads the development and enhancement of enterprise-wide Network enhancements in support of the Digital organization's objectives.
- Presents on customers’ network strategy and links to broader digital objectives.
- Serves as the highest level of escalation for troubleshooting analysis of server and workstation connectivity and associated network components.
- Performs in-depth/advanced analysis of network performance and recommends performance tuning.
- Analyzes escalated issues to determine and evaluate solutions once root cause is determined.
- Manages and ensures quality of higher risk/impact network installations or enhancements (e.g., coordinating meetings, tracking budget, following up on action items).
