- Certified by Epic in Healthy Planet Population Health for your health system app: 5 Years.
Education And Experience »
- Epic implementation or operations support experience: 8 Years.
- Health IT experience: 8 Years.
- Familiarity with Epic tools: Registries, Reporting Workbench, Decision support tools, Health Maintenance, Best Practice Advisories: 5 Years.
- Knowledge of Epic Care Everywhere, SmartForms, Meaningful Use, and Specialty Modules, Marketing, Demonstrations, and Procedure orders: 8 Years.
- Familiarity with Epic tools: Integration with patient and provider outreach tools, and MyChart: 5 Years.
- Familiarity with case or care management workflows and wellness programs: 5 Years.
- Thorough knowledge of assigned data and the use of its systems via developing through test plans/scenarios: 8 Years.
- Familiarity with/background in quality reporting initiatives such as PQRS, ACO/MSSP, & Meaningful Use: 5 Years.
- Familiarity with health plan concepts and workflows: 5 Years.
- Working knowledge in application development and system integration: 8 Years.
- Skilled in enterprise systems and familiarity with best business practices related to systems: 8 Years.
- Familiarity with legal requirements and operational policies related to patient and family privacy practices: 5 Years.
- Working knowledge of security protocols for systems utilized: 8 Years.
- Working knowledge of the current architecture of systems and information to troubleshoot problems: 8 Years.
- Working knowledge of the business functions and system needs of unit to develop working specifications for software application solutions:8 Years.
- Ability to manage timelines, financial resources, and the activities of others to achieve success and to monitor project progress and provide updates: 8 Years.
- Experience in the entire development process including specification, workflow analysis, workflow diagrams, data modeling, documentation, and quality: 8 Years.

What You’ll Do
Job Responsibilities:
- Work in developing, designing, configuring, scripting, testing, and/or supporting applications for the business, research, and/or instructional functions of clients.
- Develop solutions using programming expertise for day-to-day problems to include maintenance, modification, or development of complex inter-related applications/solutions.
- Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows by attending site visits and other integrated sessions.
- Guide workflow design, build and test the system, and analyze other technical issues associated with Epic software.
- Evaluate hardware availability and software requirements.
- Identify issues that arise in the application and working to resolve them.
- Identify and implement requested changes to the system.
- Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
- Serve as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic implementation staff.
- Hold weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones.
- Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings.
- Serve as the primary support contact for the application's end-users.
