AR/Billing Specialist (Construction Industry Experience Preferred)
Location: Santa Ana, CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $30-$33/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time | Immediate Need
Vaco is recruiting on behalf of our client for a AR/BillingSpecialist to join their team in Santa Ana, CA. This is an onsite role with an immediate start date. Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:Accurately invoice assigned customers and ensure timely billing
Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries
Verify invoice procedures and validate customer contracts
Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payments
Maintain effective communication with both internal teams and external customers
Collaborate with field teams to complete tasks and resolve issues efficiently
Support other internal functions and provide training as needed
Participate in special projects or additional duties as assigned
High school diploma or GED required
3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Billing preferred
Experience with pay applications, lien waivers, and contract management is a plus
Strong customer service and communication skills
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and strong math skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to think critically
Comfortable approaching and working with various teams and departments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word required)
Experience with systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Great Plains, Salesforce, TCR, Sage, or similar is preferred
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
