Reservations Wholesale Agent - Full Time, Year Round - Avon, CO
The Wholesale Reservations Agent works on a team in a support office environment to provide expert guidance for Vail and Beaver Creek Ski Resorts. Agent will answer phone calls, input booking notifications from Online Travel Agencies, and respond to email inquiries from Domestic and International Travel Agents to assist them in booking lodging for their clients. This position works closely with the Vail and Beaver Creek Front Desks, and the VBCRP contact center.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Resolve customer issues to achieve mutual benefit for guest and company
- Collaborate with Lodging partners and vendors to drive revenue and resort visitation
- Maintain professional relationships and provide excellent customer service with account holders by answering all quotes, reservation requests and other inquiries by e-mail, phone or fax
- Provide excellent customer service to travel agents, internal and external guests
- Use questioning and listening skills that support effective telephone communication. Focus upon providing an exceptional level of service and exceeding partner and guest expectations
- Answer phone calls, input booking notifications from Online Travel Agencies, and respond to email inquiries from Domestic and International Travel Agents to assist them in booking lodging for their clients
- Notify Inventory and Revenue Managers of overbookings so that they can shut off third party inventory in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent - required
- Fluent in English - required
- Call center, hospitality or sales experience - preferred
- Data Entry Experience - required
- Must be able to work on the phone for long periods of time - required
- Flexible schedule, exceptional time management and attention to detail - required
- High level of interpersonal communication and a focus on customer service skills - required
- The ability to multitask - required
