- Assignment Length: 12 months: Assignment lengths are estimated based on the expected load or scope of work. There is a possibility that the work may last longer or finish sooner than anticipated. If the work extends beyond the expected duration, we will extend the assignments. Conversely, if the work concludes earlier, we will attempt to find alternative assignments. However, if we are unable to do so, the assignment will come to an end.

Legal Project Manager
Our client is seeking a highly driven and solutions-oriented Legal Project Manager to lead complex client engagements with confidence, clarity, and accountability. This role requires someone who excels at building trusted relationships, managing cross-functional teams, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive decision-maker with strong communication and organizational skills, capable of independently guiding high-stakes projects from initiation to completion.
This role is fully remote. Candidates must work EST hours and be located within one of the states listed above.
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships with a focus on responsiveness, clear communication, and delivering on expectations.
- Oversee project execution across legal, finance, and operations teams, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with contract terms.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, supporting hiring, training, performance management, and productivity tracking.
- Identify risks and manage escalations to ensure prompt resolutions and continuous client satisfaction.
- Monitor project budgets, lead billing accuracy, forecast revenue, and support process improvements to enhance overall service delivery.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience managing legal projects within law firms or corporate legal departments.
- Proven ability to lead multiple high-volume, client-facing projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the presence to influence and lead effectively.
- Demonstrated track record of aligning client needs with business goals and managing internal stakeholders.
- Experience with project planning, issue resolution, budgeting, and client invoicing in a legal or litigation support setting.
