Resource Scheduler Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage scheduling for multiple contracted work crews, primarily focused on vegetation clearance efforts.
- Support day-to-day scheduling tasks using tools such as QuickBase, Maximo, OMS, and Outlook.
- Work closely with internal schedulers and field crews to prioritize work and ensure efficiency across assigned routes.
- Review job requests, evaluate priorities, and adjust plans to meet operational goals and timelines.
- Analyze productivity data to verify that contract work meets internal standards and deliverables.
- Review and correct project accounting strings to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Identify and recommend improvements to scheduling processes and forecasting activities.
- Interpret job design sketches and documentation to accurately assign tasks and ensure proper execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in forestry, geology, natural resources, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in scheduling, operations coordination, or a related administrative/logistics role.
- Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in scheduling or utilities is preferred but not required.
