• Service and maintain new and existing assigned customer base.
• Work within the parameters of the QM System to help Variosystems achieve general and company-specific quality efforts and growth goals.

Description 

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for the industrialization of new products. Interfaces with the Operations Hubs via Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Test Engineering.  As Program Manger, he/she oversees all projects of his/her customer base. Technical Program Manager (TPM) are responsible for the MAKE side of the customer relationship. They industrialize customer projects along the entire value chain working together with the specialists of the assigned operations site. They focus on costs, quality, flexibility and availability when defining and implementing the manufacturing strategy.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Task of Technical Program Manager
  1. Set up Calculation folder
  2. Facilitate and prepare quote calculations for materials. Perform material scrubbing
  3. Request PCB panel for Eng.
  4. Complete Supplier questionnaire (as needed)
  5. Provide special tooling, and process engineering
  6. Facilitate customer engineer meeting
  7. Fill out NPI checklist and submit to Technical
  8. Conduct ECN reviews and sign-off
  9. Work w/ Technical on BOM set-up
  10. Discuss router w/ Planning
  11. Conduct PPAP external FAI follow-up
  12. Communicate w/ customers on build issues
  13. Help resolve Testing issues
  14. Issue deviations and get signatures
  15. Facilitate SCARs
  16. Resolve technical RMA follow-up and contribute toward resolving quality issues
  17. Communicate PCN notifications
  18. Resolve Process issues and changes
  19. Attend customer technical meetings
  20. Advise on second sources, technical clarifications and production issues
  21. Offer to exame MPC/PPC
  22. Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of all aspects regarding the production of electronic, precision mechanical and electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies
• 5 years of experience in sales/account management/electronics environment
• ERP (SAP) experience 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Customer Oriented
