About the Role
We are seeking a Claims Examiner with hands-on experience in claims investigation and settlement. This role requires independent judgment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage moderate-difficulty claims efficiently while ensuring compliance with policy coverage and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and manage assigned claims; confirm policy coverage and acknowledge claims
- Interpret policy terms and determine coverage applicability
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and adjudicate first- and third-party claims
- Communicate with clients, claimants, witnesses, and other parties via phone
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical details
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience gathering information and making sound decisions
- Effective interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Claims or a similar organisation
- Comprehensive experience in claims investigation and settlement
