OVERVIEW
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to harness and translate strategic insights into actionable marketing recommendations, a strong drive to deliver significant business impact, and a strategic mindset to influence product and brand outcomes. They will have experience building strong cross-functional partnerships, developing insights and strategies for hardware or physical products, as well as experience with retail, shopper, and/or category management. Proactivity, energy, flexibility, collaboration, and a passion for translating complex ideas into simple and compelling messages are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Included, but not limited to:
- Managing quantitative audience databases, including survey design, data cleanliness/quality, and reporting.
- Supporting ad hoc data requests by pulling data, ensuring quality and accuracy, and writing narratives to support business understanding and decision-making.
- Translating narratives into actionable insights with clear recommendations and implications, and producing highly effective communications that motivate teams to apply learnings across marketing and the broader organization.
- Diving deep to uncover underlying and cohort-based trends, while balancing tradeoffs between individual cohorts and broader strategic audience recommendations.
- Demonstrating strong time management and prioritization skills, balancing competing requests and identifying the highest-impact opportunities.
- Positioning learnings within the larger business context to inform and shape audience recommendations and strategy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 6 years of experience with a strong background in quantitative research, including hands-on experience in survey or discussion guide development and data analysis (e.g., weighting, data cleaning, regression). Direct experience working with large datasets and connecting first-party and third-party data is required.
- Ability to independently execute ad hoc audience data requests, pulling from internal databases and visualizing and reporting on trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills, with experience moving from a blank slate to a clearly defined research problem and solution.
- Proven track record of managing datasets and owning responsibility for data hygiene and reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated experience delivering concise, executive-level synthesis to influence business decisions and strategies.
- Ability to think holistically and creatively in addition to technically and analytically.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience collaborating proactively and effectively with a broad range of partners.
Salary : $55 - $65
