Veterinary United is thrilled to launch our brand-new overnight Emergency Service at Parkway Small Animal and Exotic Hospital, and we’re looking for a passionate Emergency Veterinarian to help us build it from the ground up.

About Parkway
Located in Clinton Township, Parkway Small Animal and Exotic Hospital is one of Michigan’s leading exotic and small animal practices—soon to become one of its top ER destinations. Our newly expanded, open-concept facility was designed with emergency medicine in mind and includes:
Digital X-ray, ultrasound, echocardiogram, CT scanner
Full surgical suite
Dedicated exotic patient space (over 8,000 exotics annually!)
Attached Animal Activity Center for boarding, grooming, and daycare

The Role: Emergency Veterinarian (Overnights)
As part of our launch team, you'll play a key role in shaping overnight emergency care at Parkway. You’ll manage a diverse caseload, work closely with a committed tech and support staff, and collaborate across our Veterinary United network.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver top-tier emergency medical care for small animals (and exotics, if you're open to it!)
Communicate clearly with clients and team members
Contribute to a culture of learning, growth, and respect
What You Bring:
DVM or equivalent from an accredited program
Licensed (or eligible) in the state of Michigan
Prior emergency experience preferred—but if you’re ER-curious, let’s talk!
