We are seeking a Weekend Physical Therapist to join our Home Health team in Worcester. The ideal candidate will provide physical therapy services on Saturdays and Sundays to patients in their homes, focusing on promoting mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall physical health and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Proven experience in home health physical therapy is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments
- Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to patients
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards in healthcare
Schedule:
- Saturdays and Sundays, 8, 10 or 12 hour days available.
