Pay: :$26 per hour
Location: Pittsburg, CA (providing services in contra costa county)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week, depending on program need.

We are seeking a Family Partner: to join our dedicated team providing intensive, compassionate support to families of young children facing behavioral, emotional, developmental, or mental health challenges. Your unique perspective as a caregiver will be a guiding light for families, offering practical help, emotional support, and trusted advocacy.
What You'll Do:- Support families through home visits, clinic meetings, and community outreach.
- Share information about local resources, services, and supports to help families navigate complex systems.
- Encourage and facilitate parent participation in support groups and family-focused activities.
- Help organize and attend family meetings and trainings (including reminders, transportation, child care, setup/cleanup).
- Attend trainings to learn more about family rights, available services, and advocacy tools.
- Represent family needs in your assigned area and encourage other families to get involved.
- Serve as a voice for families, representing their needs and concerns within the program and local community.
- Document interactions and manage communication using tools like Word, Excel, Gmail, and other basic platforms.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- You must be a parent or primary caregiver of a child with one or more of the following: :intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health needs, involvement in special education, juvenile justice, or fragile medical needs.
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Must have a valid CA driver’s license, a reliable personal vehicle, and a good driving record. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and communication skills, with the ability to connect with families from diverse backgrounds.
