As a CNC Programmer you will:Job DescriptionDay to Day ResponsibilitiesStudy drawings and blueprints of components to be manufacturedDetermine required machines for process and plan order of workUse CAD/CAM software to program production machinesEnsure tasks align with customer specificationsWrite, develop, and edit CNC programs for continuous improvements.Create instructions for machinists.Calculate where materials should be cut.Communicate with operators using the programs.Run simulations or tests to check completed programs.Prepare geometric layouts using proper software.Select necessary cutting tools.Analyze job orders and perform calculations.Write and modify programs for increased efficiency.Simplify tooling time and increase productivity.Make decisions to improve production efficiencyThis is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire OpportunityThe ideal candidate will have:Required Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED, Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering is preferredMinimum 8 years of CNC setup experience Minimum of 8-10 years of experience CNC Programming Proficient computer skills Ability to understand CAD/CAM drawingsProficient in utilizing CAD/CAM to create programs and/or design drawings for production purposesGood English comprehension Preferred Skills & QualificationsAttention to detail Good mathematics skills Able to occasionally lift and/or carry, push and/or pull up to 50 poundsSchedule: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pmPay Rate: $30-$34 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
