What are the responsibilities and job description for the IMPACT Coordinator Navigation Resource Center Camden position at Volunteers of America Delaware Valley?
Coordinating and providing support and assistance across the program operations. Responsibilities include social service coordination and case management responsibilities, overseeing on going security and safety of the programs, accountability for the client population, supervising the orientation of all new clients, conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing service plans and delivering treatment service to the clients.
Scope of Duties:
- Identify potential homeless populations that are suitable for the Transitional Living and Supportive Services programs.
- Inspect and monitor client records to ensure that services provided respond to assessed risk and needs and comply with contractual requirements identified by the funding source and Volunteers of America Delaware Valley.
- Collect all assessment and related research data and process information on database.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with funding and regulatory agencies, and maintain compliance with all applicable housing, certification and accreditation.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with community resources, including service providers and planning bodies, elected officials, civic and religious associations.
- Ensure the timely completion of all reports, fiscal data and quarterly reports as required.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional affiliations.
- Responsible for outreach plans and activities in regions with multi-employees.
- Work with program teams to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on outcomes.
- Act as a liaison between the program and the community, to include the law enforcement partnerships, social service agencies within the community and other partnering providers. Interact with all clients, staff and community members with respect and courtesy.
- Maintain client and staff confidentiality in compliance with operational policies and procedures.
- Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meeting, supervisory conferences and training sessions.

Experience
Required- Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years experience working directly with homeless populations or high school diploma or equivalent with five to ten years social service experience. Mastery of resource development, community and public relations, experience with diverse populations and office administration. Good oral and written communications and organization skills. Must have functioning knowledge of computer software, specifically Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel, and Word.

Required- Bachelors or better in Human Services or related field

Salary : $44,200 - $56,000
