Job Summary
The Chief of Staff (CoS) reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of business lines. They must have strong analytical, managerial, communication, and leadership skills. The CoS assists in creating, planning, implementing, and integrating the strategic direction of an organization through tactical oversight of day-to-day Business Line operations. This includes responsibility for communicating with Focus Area Leads who are responsible for tactical actions in their areas.

Responsibilities
- Support the communication and implementation of the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction in the lines of business
- Assist in overseeing the operations of an organization in accordance with the direction established by the COO
- Identify and recommend resolution of barriers to the success of the organization in reaching its goals
- Work closely with senior management team to create, implement, and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies
- Foster a growth oriented, positive, and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Ensure compliance on a company, state and federal level
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- A ctive DoD Secret Clearance or higher
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: 7 years’ DoD Program Management ,10 years’ technology and solutions Program/Project Management
- Demonstrated experience supporting growth and proposals as needed
- Demonstrated analytical and time-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams of executives and workforce personnel
- Ensure effective utilization of resources
- Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers / leaders
- Able to professionally and confidently communicate with Executives, Customers, and workforce personnel
- If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered
- Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related
- 10 years’ Navy program experience
- PMP (highly desired) or similar project management related certification

Salary : $200,000 - $270,000
