Position: Senior .Net Developer/ArchitectLocation: Little Rock, AR (Hybrid – On-site for first month, then partial remote after 6 months)Duration: 05 months (Possibility of Extension)Position Overview: The selected candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of the central infrastructure, application instances, and databases that support the client’s Budget System. This custom-developed solution includes the Annual Operational Plan, Biennial Plan, and Budget Manual, utilizing .NET and StimulSoft Reporting Software.Roles & Responsibilities:Develop and maintain packages to extract data elements and construct data layouts.Support and optimize the Budget System applications.Assist and mentor state employees on .NET solutions and best practices.Ensure efficient SQL Server installation, maintenance, and optimization.Design and implement disaster recovery plans.Develop Windows and Web Services for system integrations.Design and maintain TDE Encryption and MS DTC configurations.Required Skills & Experience:6 years of experience with .NET development and architecture (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET).6 years of experience with SQL Server (2008 R2, 2012, 2016) including installation, optimization, and maintenance.6 years of experience designing and maintaining financial and budget applications.6 years in developing and testing disaster recovery plans.Experience with Active Reports and/or StimulSoft Reports.Proficiency in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and TDE Encryption.Experience with MSDTC configuration.Strong communication skills and ability to create technical infrastructure diagrams.Financial Institution experience is required.Desired:Knowledge of state and federal laws, procurement, budget, human resources, and payroll laws and processes.Education:BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.vTech Solution Inc. is a Managed IT Services firm headquartered in Washington, DC.
