Key Responsibilities
- Serve as lead attorney on litigation cases
- Prepare and analyze legal documents from clients, third parties, and opposing counsel
- Manage cases, including drafting case summaries and conducting legal research
- Handle court filings and research through e-filing platforms
- Appear in court and manage deadlines
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff
- Make professional calls to clients, courts, opposing counsel, and government entities
- Review, draft, and proofread contracts, pleadings, complaints, and agreements
- 2-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
- 2-5 years of experience with business transactional work
- Familiarity with pre-litigation matters and judgment collection
- Proficiency with e-filing in state and federal courts
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Experience with depositions, hearings, and legal software (Westlaw, Wealth Counsel, Clio, Dropbox)
- Bilingual ability is a plus
- Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year (based on experience)
