Waverly Heights, a premier senior living community located in Gladwyne, PA is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Business Office team. This full-time, on-site role plays a key part in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization by supporting various accounting and reporting functions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform a multitude of monthly bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and support audited financials.
- Record deposits and payments for multiple entities.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
- Create and maintain financial analysis and reports for internal use.
- Assist in the preparation and development of annual labor, expense, and capital budgets.
- Provide support for various external and internal audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business office operations and improve processes as needed.
- Support all other business office functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- Solid understanding of basic Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, and a strong proficiency in MS Excel is a must.
- Experience with Quickbooks preferred.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- The motivation and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
