What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA position at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital?

Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Provides care to infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric.

Educational Requirements:
  • High School Education or GED  
  • Certified Nurse Assistant or previous education/clinical experience comparable to requirements of CNA program.
Special Requirements
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • CPR required within 30 days of 1st shift of direct patient care or prior to completion of orientation.
