What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist position at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital?
Under the supervision of the Medical Advisor and Technical Manager of Respiratory Therapy and upon the request of the physician, sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. This includes providing these services to all age classifications of patients.
- Educational Requirements: Must be a graduate from an approved Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist program.
- CPR within 30 days of 1st shift of direct patient care or prior to completion of orientation.
- Experience Requirements: Experience preferred but not required.
