Responsibilities
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Completing support and training tasks for the agency’s electronic medical records, working to ensure that stakeholders have access to care records, reporting and optimal functionality for their unique business needs.
- Training direct service staff and to ensure technical aspects of EHR are in alignment with clinical goals and needs.
- Providing ongoing training to agency staff as application upgrades and process changes occur.
- Acting and functioning as a resource for continued testing of application upgrades, system improvements and changes to ensure effective use of system.
- Managing user access and profile creation, including user creation and deactivation.
- Supporting special EHR projects and system reviews as needed.
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience working with Netsmart or another similar electronic health record system.
- Experience working in the mental health field, with an understanding of basic concepts, language and principles.
- Ability to simplify technical language for lay audiences during staff trainings and troubleshooting sessions.
- Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) at least an intermediate level.
