Fund Accounting Associate – Direct Lending

A top-tier, rapidly growing hedge fund with over $100 billion in assets is seeking a Fund Accounting Associate to join its Direct Lending portfolio team in Manhattan, NY. In this role, you will support the accounting and reporting functions for the Direct Lending portfolio, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close.The firm offers a hybrid schedule with four days in the office and Fridays remote, along with significant opportunities for growth and advancement.

Job Function

• Manage the full financial close process.
• Prepare financial reporting packages for executive management.
• Conduct and present financial analysis of fund performance.
• Calculate and review monthly investor rate of return (ROR) estimates.
• Prepare investor statements and related documentation.
• Generate weekly cash flow and capital reports.
  
  
  

Job Requirement

• 4 - 7 years of fund accounting experience, specifically within Direct Lending, Private Equity, or Private Credit.
• Prior experience at a Big 4 firm or a similarly respected organization with Asset or Investment Management clients.
