As a Sensors Solution Architect,
you will be responsible for...
Product & Application Development Strategic Product & Market Insight:
- Acquire deep application knowledge of products, quickly understanding their strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Clearly establish competitive analysis and support defining the value proposition for new products.
- Build a deep understanding of the market, competition, and customer needs to inform product strategy.
- Understand competitors' products and solutions and the evolution of target markets.
- Play a prominent role in the design of technology and IP roadmaps, and support long-term product roadmaps.
Product Definition & Development:
- Define next-generation sensor products.
- Work collaboratively with customers, sales teams, applications and product development engineers, and the product line manager to identify, specify, and propose optimal new products for target applications.
- Solve system-level problems with the innovative products you define.
- Conduct technical evaluations of early concepts to produce feasibility analysis and investigate adaptations of existing technologies to new applications.
- Feedback customer application knowledge, gather market and customer requirements, and translate them into next-generation product requirements.
Technical Support & Go-To-Market:
- Provide technical support to customers, distribution, sales, and FAEs.
- Define and drive the development of promotional tools (e.g., evkits, reference designs, demo kits).
- Support the Go-To-Market strategy by providing promotional content for marketing campaigns, application notes, white papers, and user guides.
What you already have...
Experience:
- 8 years of industry experience in roles such as Applications Engineer, Systems Engineer, System Architect, or Product Definer.
- Direct experience in a customer-facing role is highly desired.
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer meetings globally (10%-20% of the time).
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is required.
- Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline is a plus.
Domain Knowledge:
- Specific domain knowledge in power management is desired.
ITAR/EAR Compliance Requirement:
- This position requires access to information subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
- Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
Travel:
- Travel 1-2 weeks per quarter to meet with strategic customers and partners.
Salary : $120,000 - $200,000
