Willis Knighton Health is a great place for both the new graduate and the experienced CRNA to practice!! The Medical Center provides the new graduate with an wide range of Nurse Anesthesia experience, helping him or her to develop the skills neccessary to not only practice successfully, but to be more-than-competent in any situation that might arise in their career. This position is also an excellent choice for the experienced CRNA -- providing challenging and rewarding opportunities to increase proficiency, gain more knowledge and experience growth in their Nurse Anesthesia practice! The Medical Center utilizes 11 ORs each day, and the CRNAs are supervised by an excellent staff of 6 Anesthesiologists who are willing to teach new graduates and who will also allow the experienced CRNA the freedom and autonomy he or she deserves. Case types vary from elective, outpatient procedures to complex organ transplants, neurovascular, orthopedic, laparoscopic and cardiovascular procedures. New graduates are afforded the opportunity to learn under an excellent staff of CRNAs and anesthesiologists at a pace that is comfortable and safe. They will also find our surgeons readily accepting of their practice and easy to work with during their transition to "experienced" CRNA. In turn, the "seasoned" CRNA will not only appreciate this acceptance of CRNA-based anesthesia, but he or she will also be very grateful for the quality of surgeons affiliated with the Willis Knighton Health!
