What are the responsibilities and job description for the Telemetry Technician position at Willis Knighton Health?
WK Bossier is looking for a full-time Telemetry Tech to work 7A to 7P or 7P to 7A. Candidates will be required to pass an EKG test (including heart blocks) with a minimum score of 80%. Current knowledge of cardiac rhythms and the ability to measure and document them appropriately is required. This position also requires some patient interaction when placing or troubleshooting the telemetry box on those patients who require cardiac monitoring. An orientation period of approximately 5 weeks includes being assigned to a preceptor who will help ensure your ability to perform all tasks required in the job description.
