As our Quality Inspector you will be responsible for product quality verification! Winchester Hermetics is an extremely unique design and manufacturing company that works with cutting edge technology for the most demanding high cost of failure applications. We support the World's leading Tech companies in a variety of markets using our “GSD” attitude while still having FUN.
Criteria for Success:
- Communicate effectively with all co-workers
- Work with drawings, specifications, inspection and department procedures
- Operate and maintain mechanical inspection equipment such as micrometers, pin gages, OGP, and simple electrical and hermeticity testing equipment
- Effective use of microscope (6-20x) for inspection of workmanship defects
- Document and maintain inspection records

What will you be Accountable for?
- Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work
- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

- Collaborate across Hermetics in a way that leads by example, holds people accountable and utilizes data to make informed decisions
- Actively participate internally regarding, Engineering requirements, RMA’s, CAR’s, production requirements
- Have a positive, engaged, and infectious attitude that's easy to work with and aligns with our culture
What are you Empowered to do?
- Support a QMS strategy that aligns with Hermetics short & long term growth goals and compliments all departments
- Collaborate frequently with other departments to ensure priorities for OTD is met, and customer communication is supported
- Support Quality Management team to make informed product and process decisions and improvements
