Hiring: Android Engineer (Hybrid | USC & GC Only)
We’re looking for a skilled Android Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team working on scalable, client-facing Android platforms and APIs. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building robust mobile solutions, collaborating across teams, and contributing to platform-level innovation.
Location, Duration & Work Model
- Location: Cupertino, CA
- Work Model: Hybrid (onsite presence required)
- Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension)
- Work Authorization: US Citizens & Green Card holders only (strict requirement)
Job Summary
As an Android Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications and developer APIs, including map-based integrations and system-level components. You’ll collaborate closely with design, services, and data teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Must-Have (Non-Negotiable) Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- 6 years of software engineering experience in production environments
- Strong proficiency in Android development using Java and/or Kotlin
- Experience building APIs for 3rd-party app integrations
- Hands-on experience with Maps integrations
- Solid understanding of Kotlin, JNI boundaries, NDK, concurrency & thread management
- Experience with system architecture and API design
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and delivery processes
- Ability to work in a Hybrid model in Cupertino, CA
- USC or GC only
