Responsibilities
- Create precise technical drawings using CAD design software for various plans such as Site Layout, Grading, Erosion and Sediment Control, Stormwater Management, Road, Utilities including Water, Sewer and Storm Drains, Landscape, Hardscape, and Forest Conservation.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to comprehend project requirements and specifications thoroughly.
- Review and adjust designs meticulously to ensure full compliance with regulations.
- Assist in project planning and coordination to meet deadlines effectively.
- Maintain well-organized documentation and files for all design projects.
- High school diploma or GED; CAD certification or 2-year CAD degree.
- 5 years of prior work experience in preparing site construction drawings.
- Software Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must, Civil 3D is preferred, and MicroStation is a plus.
- Ability to effectively self-manage tasks and projects.
- Familiarity with following and adhering to CAD standards and procedures or having a clear understanding within 90 days.
- Must have a solid ability to pay attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and multiple priorities.
